gotthatcatinme I don't want to start this with story time on why I quit my job because it was actually a super serious situation and I don't necessarily feel the need to explain myself. But because this is probably going to be taken into legal hands pretty soon, I'm just going to go ahead and explain the situation because I don't think that I was incorrect. I think I handled that the best way I possibly could have. But I'm just going to answer some questions that I've been getting because I made

The whole building. Like I'm talking 200 rooms and I'm the only person clocked in from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Like, and that was a reoccurring thing that was happening four or five times a week for at least the last six months. I had concerns previously. I don't know I'm not going to explain the other situations that have happened, but let's just say that I would not have reacted that way if I wasn't legitimately scared and had reason to be scared because that was not the first time that something li

So, this guy was a part of one of those groups, I'm not going to expose the name of the group, because I'm, not a *itch, contrary to popular belief as well. He had come up and he told me, he was like, "hey, my tv doesn't work in this room." And I was like, "oh, well, I don't have maintenance here or anyone to go up there and look at that." And he was already a little irritated by that, it's like he was already trying to get me to go up there and look at it. But I told him straight up, I was like

20 minutes later, and this is why I first started getting| a little bit skeptical because I'm like, it's been 20 minutes and he came up saying he was now locked out of his new room. And I was like, "well, how is that? How's that even possible? Like, did you leave your, did you leave all your keys in the room and then walk out and you just can't get back in?" And he's like, "No, I'm holding the keys up and it's just, it won't open." And so I was like, “okay, well, I can't go down there with you.

to see, like, I need to prove to you." And I was like, "no, we're not doing that. It's just not happening." So he left, came back about 20 minutes later. So you mean to tell me that he was trying to get into that lock for 20 minutes? No, he was in his room scheming on what else he could come up with to get me down there. This is not my first rodeo. I know how these things go. So he came back up and basically that's when the video started. That's when the video that you guys have seen started. He

I told him, "I'm just going to call non-emergency and see if they can get into the room." And then I told him the group that this guy was affiliated with and my manager immediately switched up. He was just like," oh no, Caroline, if this gets back to us, our reputation could be tarnished. We could lose thousands and thousands of dollars. You just have to do what he says." And that's when I started crying. I started freaking out. I was shaking uncontrollably. I'm bawling on the phone with my mana

I was just so dumbfounded, so insanely baffled that my manager cared more about his reputation and his bank account than my safety. And by the way, I'm the only person that works at the front desk now. Every single person just quit within the same week. Only person there. And I've been putting up with that. On top of all of the other *hit that I had to deal with. He was not locked out of his room. He claims he had diabetic medication that he needed to get into and that's why I offered to call th

If you're not a woman, you might not be able to understand that you, when speaking to agitated men. you have to choose your words so very carefully. Otherwise, something could happen literally within seconds. My manager not standing up for me or protecting me when he expects me to do all this for him... Moral of the story is if you are in an uncomfortable situation at the workplace, at school, at home, do not keep that in. Always say something. Always stand up for yourself because there's not a

I need to find something. I have my own place. I have four cats. I have to be able to take care of myself. And unfortunately, right now, the best thing for me was to leave that place. If you guys have been in similar situations and just need someone to talk to who might be able to understand and help, my DMs are open. I've been responding to all these comments right away. So I hope this changes some of your guys' opinion on me, all the people that were calling me a condescending *itch. So yeah,

Most helpful All reviews C Carol Ann Burns 40 minutes ago on G Google I'm a former employee of Stoney creek. I worked there for almost a year. I received outstanding reviews and was highly liked by the guests. Unfortunately I dealt with a lot of both sexual and regular harassment. My manager did little to nothing about it. I just quit yesterday because I was both verbally and sexually harassed by a guest and my manager, Leo Murphy was more worried about his reputation than his staff member. Not

ignores this issue. He talks badly about guests and employees and shows no respect towards women or children. He has his wife work the busy bar shifts and they take all the cash home after these shifts. Nepotism at its finest. Hopefully this review doesn't get removed. If you would like to see proof of the event that led me to quit check out my tiktok page. @gotthatcatinme I do not advise anyone to book this hotel. The rooms are poorly cleaned and the management is a joke!
